40-55% US DL Wrtten Exam Failure
40-55% of US citizens taking the written portion of a drivers license exam, today in 2026, FAIL this portion of the exam. In the 1970s 8-13% failed this portion of the exam. So, US DL exams need to be modified; and 85% of those taking the written portion of their DL exams should PASS this portion of the exam.
DMV Appointments after Expiration
US Citizens, & Texans, must make their DMV appointments, at least, 6 months in advance. If they don't their appointments are scheduled for a date that is after their DL expires. In 2026, some world nations ask their citizens to renew their driver's licenses online, until they reach age 80 and then they must renew in a DMV office.
DLs: Excellent Vision or Average?
When you wear & purchase glasses or contacts, your optometrist provides you with a "excellent vision" prescription. And then each year after this, your vision will change from: year 1 - excellent vision, year 2 - very good vision, year 3 - good vision, year 4 - pretty good vision. And then you up-date your prescription again.-o
All US Adults Need a ID + DL
All US citizens need, both, a ID and a driver's license. They NEED both! A state ID could cost as little as $30-$50. State
ID applications could be made available online, and approved of, online. Each state would make over $500 million in state income if they issused every adult state IDs.
NO 70-80 Year Old Re-Test DL Exams
Some experts have recommended that all 50 US states need to require their 70-75-80 year old drivers to re-take their DMV driver's license written and road test exams. We recommend, instead, NO RETEST. We recommend that the 40 MPH drivers license be a 70+ choice for some US citizens.
NO DL Eye Exam Countries
Some nations only require a eye exam when the person takes their initial driver's license exam. Here is the list of nations that do that: 1. Germany, 2. France, 3. UK, 4. Belgium, 5. Sweden, 6. Netherlands, 6. Australia, & 7. New Zealand. And their nations do not have high car wreck rates.

US Leaders
US automakers produced bigger cars than ever before, in the 1970s-2000s, even after they warned of negative impact these cars would have on the environment.
When considering suitable environments for the addition of third lanes dedicated to electric mini slow vehicles, college campuses, retirement apartment complexes, and master-planned communities emerge as prime candidates.
